grandma: “oh, my dear...that’s just lovely magic going on. You see, snow appears when a child of winter comes floating on his or her icy bubble, collecting all raindrops falling from the clouds. Then, these raindrops pass through a magic musical instrument that the child is playing…and finally get out as snowflakes”

I figured out this also explains why snow has its own music and special feeling

Later on, in school, I found out meteorologists use a (sometimes too difficult) description and name of this magical and natural phenomenon.
Either way, science and nature are pure magic for believers.

Edit: sorry about the tones. It could be dark on some monitors. the original is much brighther and nice. This is an "arranged" photo, as I don't get along with the new scanner.
